Chris Hunt started HuntScapes over 35 years ago as a hobby while in high school. He continued this work while also employed at NC State University Forestry department as a forestry engineer. Over the years, HuntScapes grew to become the leader of commercial and residential maintenance with over 40 crew members. Chris is licensed by the State as a Landscape Contractor and Qualified Pesticide Applicator. He is also a Certified Landscape Professional, Certified Landscape Irrigation Contractor and a state Licensed Plumber.

He and his wife, Arnella, live in Raleigh with their two sons but spend most of their free time at the beach. He is passionate about fishing, ATV Racing, and traveling with Chevy the Labrador retriever. Additionally, they are known locally for having a strawberry farm called, Hunts Strawberries. The strawberry farm is a local favorite and is a small way to show the community their love for agriculture on a personal level.
